Vintage Chronograph Revival
The Challenge
A 1970s chronograph arrived with a non-functioning movement and significant dial deterioration. The owner inherited the watch from his father and wanted it restored to working condition while preserving its original appearance as much as possible.
The Solution
We performed a complete movement overhaul, sourcing era-appropriate replacement parts for worn components. The dial required careful color matching and re-lacquering. The case received gentle refinishing to remove scratches while maintaining its patina. The chronograph pushers were serviced and properly sealed.
The Result
After ten weeks of work, the chronograph functioned properly across all complications. Timing measurements showed accuracy within acceptable vintage standards. The dial retained its original character with improved legibility. The client was particularly pleased that his father's watch could be worn again.
Automatic Module Optimization
The Challenge

The Solution
We disassembled the rotor module and found wear in the bearing. The reversing wheels showed signs of inefficient engagement. We replaced the bearing, cleaned all components thoroughly, and adjusted the reversing wheel positioning. Winding efficiency was tested before and after to measure improvement.
